Dontknowrob is Rob Hardisty. A UK Rap artist from Nuneaton/Scarborough England.
Rob combines Rap with his own style of Electric, syth style beats, heavily inspired by 80’s synthesizer from legends such as Jan Hammer, Vince DiCola and Jean-Michel Jarre.
Rob has been writing lyrics since his College days, he teamed up fellow student and friend James Raven and formed the group r0b + Dirty Jim. The two would create their first and only unreleased album, The Project.
As the years passed, the two lost touch and went their own seperate ways. Work and life commitments ruled Rob’s life but he always would remember and miss the days, writing lyrics and composing beats.
Rob continued writing on and off but would always come back to it often, knowing he couldn’t truly rest until his music was finished and released, whether good or bad. It was just something he had to do.

Rob features on LB and the Beings’ latest single ‘Something Else’
LB and the Beings are a local band headed by Singer/Songwriter Luke Barker.
The song depicts the struggles of a mundayne working life and wanting something else before it’s too late.
Something Else was recorded at Beckview Studios in January 2023 and released on the 2nd of May 2023.
